  It is most unfortunate to hear of the other reviews regarding this cheese shop. When I went, my interaction, brief though it was, was rather pleasant.

  From the other reviews on here, I see that what I have experienced is typical. I had been in this shop a couple years ago and asked about sampling a cheese. I was told "We only sample on Saturday, come back on Saturday." I told him I was only down for the day and he said "well then I can't help you." I briefly looked at the cheese selections anyway and saw that the extra sharp was Cabot. I could get that @ the supermarket and of course the supermarket sells it for less.
  
  Fast forward to today. I recalled the incident as I was in the area and decided to go back since it was Saturday and I wanted to give the owner the benefit of the doubt. I got into the store and was told "you can't bring open containers into the store" (I was holding a drink). He didn't even have the courtesy to say hello first. I walked out without saying anything.
  
  I finished my drink and walked back in a few minutes later. He gave me a nasty stare and still didn't say anything. He couldn't even welcome me after I agreed to follow his rules? I walked over to the sample area on the counter, which had 1 buffalo cheese and pretzel sticks to sample 5 dips. So much for "samples on Saturday" with 1 cheese and 5 dips?
  
  To top it all off, he actually had a sign posted that said something like "these are samples, this is not lunch." How tacky is that?
  
  In conclusion, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY HERE. Go down to the Cheese Board in Linwood where they do the following:
  1. Carry quality cheese that you won't find in the supermarket
  2. Let you have something to drink in the store
  3. Ask if they can help you
  4. Let you sample any cheese in the case
  
  I know this is long, but at least you have the whole picture. Google is generous giving "poor-fair" as the lowest rating.
